Directorate of Information and Publicity,
the Youth Ministry of the
Church of the Lord (Aladura) Worldwide
(YMCLAW) Nigeria
Proudly Announces the
National Youth Convention
Ogere - Nigeria.
December of every year.
December Convention
Time and time again, empowering young people
has been the focus of progressive societies.
Not only because they constitute a large
chunk of a population but also for the reason
that they form a formidable workforce for p
olitical, social and religious concerns.
Youths are the energy of any community.
The attributes of youths include agility,
versatility, intelligence and purity of mind
and purpose. Youths generally display
dynamism and a lot of drive. However, because
they are readily motivated they are often
open to abuse and wrong use.
Our Vision
It is to this end that the Youth Ministry of
The Church of the Lord (Aladura) Worldwide
[Y.M.C.L.A.W] is committed to investing
into the lives of young people in conformity
to the will of God, in order to produce a people
of vision, purpose and integrity. In all of its
programmes and functions, there is the
overwhelming desire to raise young people
who know who they are and what they are
supposed to be, having a clear understanding
of their existence.
Our Programmes
YMCLAW organizes a variety of programmes
and embarks on projects beneficial to all and
sundry. Some of which are: Leadership Conferences,
Annual Camp meetings, Retreats, Vocational Training,
Working Tours and Social functions (get-togethers).
This year is a significant one in the annals of the
YMCLAW in that it hosts the
NATIONAL YOUTH CONVENTION taking place
at the Victory Camp Ground, near the Holy Mount
Tabieorar Complex, Ogere, Km 60 along Lagos-Ibadan Exp.
Way, Ogun State. The theme of this year's Convention
s TRUSTING IN GOD: The Source of Strength and
Comfort; (II Cor. 1:4, 9). Features include Lectures,
Seminars, Workshops, Debates, Music, Drama,
Choreography, Brothers'/Sisters' Forum, Diocese
Presentations and lots more!
For the vision statement again,

OUR OBJECTIVE
Youths don't have to waste their lives if they
are properly tutored and guided. This,
Convention is set to accomplish in impacting
the lives of young people, moulding them into
useful vessels to themselves, the Church and
society at large. The Convention is to serve as
a rallying point for youths from all over the
nation and abroad. With its intended inter-denominational
outlook, it represents an ACADEMY FOR YOUTHS,
whose impact would be lasting, God helping.
SETTING THE BALL ROLLING
